Event Account Manager, Meetings & Groups –  based Koln, Germany

Our client is a global technology supplier to the business travel industry. The company’s data-driven solutions deliver savings and performance for corporations around the world.

They are looking for a Cologne based Event Account Manager – Meetings & Groups, who plans group trips, meetings or events on behalf of their corporate Key Account customers .

The role:

• You will support clients and ensure outstanding service quality by answering requests and providing excellent advice
• You will take responsibility for international and for local acting clients and support the roll-out of the Company’s tech offerings
• You will use different kinds of technologies to provide the best solutions for clients
• You will take responsibility for managing your clients commercially to increase revenue for the Company

Your qualifications:

• A successful commercial background
• Very good knowledge of the meetings and events industry with strong hotel contacts.
• Ability to initiate positive contact in tele-sales and to maintain lasting relations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to meet needs of client and the Company
• Fluency in German and English, spoken and written
