Our client is an independent and renowned business travel consulting firm and this role concentrates specifically on supporting their clients with travel technical support and build requirements. There is also a need to support technical implementation projects.
This is a great position for somebody who is known as ‘great at understanding travel technology’ and is able to provide solutions, knowing that customer service and attention to detail is where your passion lies.
You will have a diverse client base so this role will give you the ability to use your excellent communication skills.
Skills and Experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to adapt communication style depending on audience
• Ability to prioritise and multitask.
• Ability to make decisions autonomously
• Proficient with Microsoft Programs in particular PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Teams
• A working knowledge of the GDS systems
• A working knowledge of Concur and other OBT’s and preferably experience with implementing for clients
• At least an intermediate level of knowledge specifically of travel agency processes.
• Well-rounded knowledge of internal departments within a TMC
• Ability to adopt a ’help desk’ approach to the role.
